That was the spirit in the air this morning as BBG hosted another Unplugged Breakfast, bringing together clients, friends, and community members for real conversation over good coffee.
Our guest speaker this morning was someone who knows what it means to face the impossible and refuse to blink. Warren Davies, known as the Unbreakable Farmer, shared a story that left the room in thoughtful silence one moment, and erupted with laughter and warmth the next. His message was one of resilience, community, and the kind of stubborn hope that keeps people going when everything says they shouldn't.

Warren didn't speak to us. He spoke with us. His journey through hardship on the land (droughts, floods, market crashes, and personal loss) could have been a tale of defeat. Instead, it was a masterclass in perspective. The farmers know something many of us forget: you can't control the weather, but you can always control how you plant the next season.
The room walked away with more than just motivation. People left with a renewed appreciation for their own challenges, and a reminder that the BBG community exists for exactly these moments. To learn from people who have walked hard roads and come out the other side with something worth sharing.
Gala Awards Recognition: Justin English & Leigh Jacobs
The morning also gave us the wonderful opportunity to formally present Gala Awards to two standout members of the BBG community: Justin English and Leigh Jacobs. These awards are a recognition not just of professional excellence, but of the generosity, integrity, and collaborative spirit that both Justin and Leigh bring to everything they do.
Watching them receive their awards in front of peers, clients, and friends was one of those genuinely lovely moments that remind us why we do what we do. Congratulations to you both. You are exactly the kind of people who make this community what it is.

The BBG Unplugged Breakfast is a regular gathering for business leaders, entrepreneurs, and community members who want more than another networking event.
